MEDIATION IN CASES OF PARENTAL CHILD ABDUCTION 30 September 2024

Renata Polit took part in the project “Intercultural Family Mediation Model”, where she contributed her knowledge and experience as one of the expert participants.

The project was commissioned by the Polish Ministry of Development. As part of the initiative, a legal-focused video was produced: “Parental Child Abduction and Mediation in the UK Legal System”.

The project, titled “Dialogue Between Cultures – Intercultural Family Mediation Model”, aims to enhance intercultural communication skills and improve the effectiveness of mediators handling cases of parental child abduction involving families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

This is a free educational resource. It offers comprehensive content covering all key aspects of effective cross-border mediation, including legal, psychological, and mediation-related elements, with particular emphasis on intercultural understanding. Recognising and understanding cultural differences is essential for resolving cross-border disputes successfully.
