Polit Law Ltd is a respected paralegal law firm based in London, recognised as Civil Law Firm of the Year 2024, 2025 and 2026, with a focus on family and civil law. We support clients in a wide range of matters, including divorce, child arrangements, property and financial disputes, jurisdiction issues and cross‑border cases, always aiming to make the legal process clear and manageable.

As a paralegal practice, we combine strong procedural knowledge with a practical, client‑focused approach. We guide clients through each stage of their case: from initial advice and document preparation, through pre‑action correspondence and negotiation, to coordinating representation where court proceedings are necessary. Recommended barristers and representation
A core part of our model is close collaboration with leading Direct Access barristers. This allows clients to benefit from specialist advocacy and formal representation in the courts of England and Wales, without having to instruct a separate solicitor. We organise representation at hearings and, where needed, at the police station, ensuring that clients have the right barristers beside them at critical moments.
Our founder and experience
Polit Law Ltd was founded by Ms Renata Polit, who has over 18 years of experience gained in legal institutions in Poland and the UK, including work in a London law firm and cooperation with mediation centres. Her background in complex, often cross‑border matters shapes the firm’s strengths in areas such as jurisdiction disputes, parental abduction, Hague Convention applications and international enforcement issues. The wider team brings experience across family, civil and dispute‑resolution work, supporting both individuals and businesses at pre‑trial and court stages.
